Supply Lists

    • The following supply list has been created for the needs of kindergarten classrooms at Cloud Springs Elementary because many of the supplies are consumable and will be used throughout the year. All supplies will be community supplies except the water bottle and headphones.

       

      Please send a complete SET OF clothes (including socks & underwear) in the Ziploc bag. The clothes will STAY in the bottom of your child’s backpack in case of emergency. If your child is not independently potty trained, please work on these skills.

      All Kindergarten Teachers: 

                      

    • 2 pairs of sturdy headphones (no earbuds or wireless)

    • (They may need another pair around Christmas)

    • Backpack-standard size (no wheels)
    • 4-6 SKINNY dry erase markers-black
    • 1 container Clorox wipes
    • 2 boxes 16 or 24 count Crayola crayons
    • 1 package of glue sticks
    • 2 pack plain #2 yellow pencils ( preferably Ticonderoga)
    • 2 boxes of tissues
    • Water bottle (plastic) with a sports lid top with name on it
    • Double pack of paper towels
    • Bottle of hand sanitizer     
    • White cardstock                                     

    • Supply donation of $25 (No child will be denied because they cannot donate.

    • Bring to open house or during the first week of school

    • (1) pair of headphones (You may want a back-up pair. These tend to break throughout the year and you will need to replace them).

    • (1) pencil case to keep personal supplies in with name on it, please.

    • 1 pack of colored pencils

    • 2 packs of No. 2 pencils
    • 4 two-pocket folders
    • 4 wide-ruled, one subject spiral notebooks
    • 1 pack of wide ruled, notebook paper
    • 1 3-ring, 1-inch binder
    • 1 pair of headphones (over the head only please, no earbuds)

    **No supply/pencil box is needed **

        Requested Supplies

    • Tissues – 3 boxes

    • Disinfectant wipes – 1 container

    • Zip top baggies – sandwich or gallon size

     

    $25 – We request that each student make a $25 contribution to purchase other consumable items for the classroom.  (No child will be denied because they cannot contribute.)

    • (1) black Sharpie marker (any size: fine point poster sized)
    • (1) highlighter – yellow and pink only

  • *Backpack (the dimensions should be 16”H x 13”W x 7”D so a folder can fit inside it, and should have a side pocket to hold a water bottle)

    *Reusable water bottle (label with student name)

    *beach towel (for a cover at nap time) (No happy nappers or sleeping bags are allowed)

    Rest cots are provided through preK. We are very fortunate that the Georgia PreK dept provides most of the school supplies for our students.

    Listed below are some items that we will use on a regular basis in our classrooms, and any donation of these products is greatly appreciated.

    *Baby wipes

    *2 rolls of Paper towels

    *Clorox or Lysol wipes

    *1 box of Tissues

    *Gallon size ziploc baggies

    *Snack size ziploc baggies

    *Snack items- (anytime throughout the school year) these can be individually wrapped items, or large size containers. Suggestions include: cheese balls, chips, fruit snacks, cereal, pretzels, marshmallows, goldfish, etc. We have 18-20 students in each class.  PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR CHILD’S TEACHER IS AWARE OF ANY FOOD ALLERGIES

    *Gift cards to Aldi, Walmart, Dollar Tree, Amazon or similar stores, in any amount, would allow teachers to purchase items as they are needed for cooking or science activities.

    *we may ask for things like plastic silverware, paper plates or disposable cups throughout the year.
